Hive Student Council:
Leading with Purpose, Serving with Pride
At PS 224 our Hive Student Council gives students a voice, a platform, and a purpose. These young leaders represent their peers, organize school events, and work together to create a stronger, more inclusive school community.
Through regular meetings, service projects, spirit days, and school-wide initiatives, Student Council members learn the values of responsibility, teamwork, and leadership. Whether they’re running a fundraiser, presenting ideas to school staff, or encouraging Hive spirit, our council members lead by example and inspire others to get involved.

President
Leads meetings, represents the student body, and helps drive initiatives with passion and purpose.
Vice President
Supports the president, leads committees, and steps in wherever leadership is needed.
Secretary
Keeps records, takes meeting notes, and helps communicate upcoming events and goals.
TREASURER
racking student council funds, managing budgets for events, and helping make smart spending decision
Representatives
Voice the ideas and concerns of their classmates, support planning, and help lead school spirit activities.
Community Liaisons
Work with staff and families to strengthen the connection between students and the broader Hive community.
